The New CEO of Yahoo!

The long wait is over for who will be the new CEO of Yahoo! Carol Bartz succeeded the former position of Jarry yang as CEO of Yahoo!. We can expect dramatic changes in the way Yahoo will run now. Carol Bartz was also a former CEO of Autodesk Inc. and she is described a “straight shooter”.

As a background of what she did when she was still in Autodesk Inc., the annual revenue of the company rocketed from $300 million to $1.5 billion. We definitely can see a bright future for Yahoo!

Jerry Yang still exists in Yahoo as “chief yahoo” and will have to attend the same board meeting.

“I believe Carol Bartz is the ideal person to take Yahoo forward and I will be honored to assist her in any way she finds helpful,” Yang said.
