Recently we were shocked about the news that an earthquake had struck over Haiti with a magnitude of 7.0 near the capital of Port-au-Prince. And thousands were affected and killed and now the Haitians are in need of assistance for food, shelter, medicine, and many other amenities. A couple of day ago I received my most awaited Google Wave invitation to see, experience, be excited, and somewhat to be disappointed. Why? I’ll tell you later. First, we will discuss about the invitation. As I remember I signed up for a Google Wave Invitation in the official page many week ago. Just imagine that, I waited a long time to received my invitation, but I understand that there are a lot of people requesting for an invitation. And because of that I consider myself lucky. Typhoon Ondoy hits Metro Manila heavily almost all streets are flooded, literally. And not only Metro Manila, the nearby provinces are also stormed by Ondoy. As per the news, there are many casualties and damages done by Ondoy. Facebook, Plurk, Twitter and also the news sites are my sources on news as of now because the TV networks are not yet releasing the latest news today (they released some major news but thats yesterday). Many are pleading for donations for those who are affected by this storm. I’ll search for the link on which you can donate, the funds will proceed to the National Red Cross.
