The Italian-American radio host called Manny Pacquiao brain damaged and the entire Filipinos illiterate in his podcast episode answering a caller’s question about the Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. in “The Adam Carolla Podcast” show. Well naturally Filipinos will be angered, and I can see a lot of websites today showing what they feel of what Carolla said. He said things without even researching if its really true or not! Its my first time hearing his name and the first impression that came up to my mind, HE’S A HATER. OK that might be exaggerated but you can see that he is the kind of person who talks big with nothing to back it up. He doesn’t have any evidence to prove of what he’s saying. I have been publishing a list of top universities in Philippines since 2008, and still I will be publishing this years “Top Universities in the Philippines 2010“. But I know that its still early to tell which schools and colleges are really the top ones, instead I will give the Top Universities in the Philippines for 2010 based on Web Rankings. And now, here is the official list of Top Universities in the Philippines for 2009 and there has been a huge change in the rankings. This is ranked according to the study conducted by Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) and the Commission On Higher Education (CHED). Here is the list:

This Top Universities in the Philippines is the result of the study conducted by the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) and the Commission On Higher Education (CHED) based the passing rate for board examinations in all courses. Only 20 emerged to be list as top 20.

Google has launched its Google Map Maker application in the Philippines, which will provide a detailed map of the Philippines for locals, tourists and potential investors. Google Map Maker will let local users locate, draw, label and accurately render existing tourist destinations and create maps of uncharted areas, making these visible to tourists and investors for the first time on the Google Map Web site. The maps will include street names, house numbers, parks, forest areas and other geographical features.
